Nov 30th: Advent begins @ MCBC…

Hey church!

This coming Sunday we start our advent series with the genealogy of Jesus in Matt 1:1-17. We will start our series by framing our minds around the question/answer "Who is Jesus". Since Christmas is all about Jesus it is essential to explore why was this baby so special, where did he come from, who was he born to and who he is/should be to us.

Nov 23: Advent Appetizer @ MCBC…

Hey church!

CHRISTMAS IS ALMOST HERE!!! Who's ready to start opening their chocolate advent calendar and eat the little chocolates behind the little doors!?!?

For most, no matter how bad things are, Christmas is often the time of the year when joy, excitement, promises and hope cover our troubles and stress. Are you one of those people? What are you going through right now and what are you expecting this coming advent season as we wait on King Jesus? Are you ready to be content with who God reveals himself to be and what he is doing/about to do?

This coming Sunday is not the start of Advent but I thought we could have an "Advent Appetizer". We will explore what contentment might be in the words of Paul from the book Philippians.
