{"id":1060,"date":"2013-09-13T08:46:55","date_gmt":"2013-09-13T13:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mcbc.qc.ca\/?p=1060"},"modified":"2013-09-13T08:46:55","modified_gmt":"2013-09-13T13:46:55","slug":"this-sunday-sept-15th-mcbc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcbc.qc.ca\/en\/this-sunday-sept-15th-mcbc\/","title":{"rendered":"This Sunday Sept 15th @ MCBC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"ltr\">\n<div>Hey church!<\/div>\n<p>This coming Sunday we will have our dear brother and friend David Au to come and preach to us about discipleship from the book of Mark 8:34-38.<\/p>\n<h3><span id=\"en-NIV-24535\">The Way of the Cross<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span><sup>34\u00a0<\/sup>Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: <span>\u201cWhoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.<\/span><\/span> <span id=\"en-NIV-24536\"><span><sup>35\u00a0<\/sup>For whoever wants to save their life<sup>[<a title=\"See footnote a\" href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Mark%208:34-38&amp;version=NIV#fen-NIV-24536a\">a<\/a>]<\/sup> will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it.<\/span><\/span> <span id=\"en-NIV-24537\"><span><sup>36\u00a0<\/sup>What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?<\/span><\/span> <span id=\"en-NIV-24538\"><span><sup>37\u00a0<\/sup>Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?<\/span><\/span> <span id=\"en-NIV-24539\"><span><sup>38\u00a0<\/sup>If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father\u2019s glory with the holy angels.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>PS.
