It is a great time of preparation for Easter where believers around the world focus on 3 things: fasting, almsgiving (giving to the poor) and prayers of repentance. To many this is a good time to go back to the heart of our worship, and learn to die to ourselves and live for God, a little more.<\/p>\n<p>This Sunday, I invited an Anglican priest (who also teaches at McGill) to come and give us an <a href=\"http:\/\/catholicism.about.com\/od\/holydaysandholidays\/p\/Ash_Wednesday.htm\">Ash Wednesday <\/a>message.
