This coming Sunday we will be having our first sermon of the year on tithes and offering. May 2014 be another great year of personal growth in how we worship God and serve him through our finances, tithes and offering. May God bless his storehouse at MCBC!<\/span><\/p>\n

In light of the topic of our message today it is fitting to have a math problem:<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1 Kings 8, we’re told Solomon offered 22,000 cattle and 120 sheep\/goats to God at the Temple. If there was 1 priest assigned to work 24 hours a day, for 7 days, then at what frequency should he be performing a sacrifice in order to sacrifice all the animals (in other words, how much time would he have between each animal to sacrifice them all)?<\/span><\/p>\n
